Hello guys! I'm Angel, I live in Western Sydney. I love anything to do with storytelling and have always been wanting to make short films and music videos. I'm merely waitressing part time as it allows me the flexibility to work on my own personal projects. Here's my most recent work, which is a trailer for a short film (full short film still in progress!)
Plot:
A married couple endures struggles in their relationship when the wife is diagnosed with a dissociative disorder.
Let's make stuff!

Hi Angel, I enjoyed the trailer so I'll have to watch the short! The monologue part was pretty cool at the start. Have you done many music videos? I used to enjoy making Anime music videos when I was younger (as well as one or two I did with the matrix hehe).
Have you any shorts that you would like to do in the coming months? o.o

Thanks Jake That's cool that you've done some! I havent done any at the moment; have been planning a lot though (including short films) but of course, finances and locations are factors that always demotivate me  So I have a lot of brainstorms and unfinished scripts lying around because of that haha. Hoping we could gather up a team so we can start to actually do things, not just talk about doing them |

Agreed. It's one of those things where if you don't surround yourself with similar minded people, it really is hard to gain momentum behind any intentions of making anything. Especially since film making is a team effort. Thus why this forum exists, so we can get up each other for slacking off as well as celebrate and help each other! XD

Yay for Pink!  thanks ^^ and yes! It's such a team thing that it just gets complicated trying to do things yourself -dies. But it's great we have a group of people to motivate each other, I love brainstorming ideas and things so to do that with others makes it better  But I'm eager to enter any upcoming film festivals you guys are considering, and quite keen to start planning something if you guys are interested too! |

Hey Markos! I like many types of films, as I like to explore different genres. The hard thing about making films thats heavy on the genres is always working out the budget and locations etc. but if you like we can definitely have a coffee and a chat, maybe with some other people and work out something together What about you? what types are you into? |

Hey Angel, I think for indies filmmakers, budget is always a challenge. Our only option is become creative. At the moment I am cough up with fantasy/science fiction, especially all the genres influenced by the German expressionism (cyberpunk, steampunk, gothic). I have a short film screenplay and I am looking for a producer so I would definitely would like to get to met with you and see if we click!, and build a team together. So let me know when you are free! Probably next week? |
