Hi all, my name is Jake, I'm one of the admins here and keen to make films and help out when I can. I finished a bachelor in media, majoring in film and screen in 2014.
I have only lived in Sydney for a year now (chatswood) I work as a kitchen hand full time, doing whatever film making I can at a nearby film club. I'm the youngest at the film club by far and the desire and find the energies are a bit different when working with older people. I wanna make more fun movies with people my age, I don't know many people or film makers my age here. (I've traveled about from Lismore to Perth over the past 3 years. I originally come from Portland, on the other side of the blue mountains!).
I am wanting to do more film projects for competitions like tropfest or A night of horror and fantastic planet. Horror and sci-fi or fantasy. I am working on a feature screenplay at the moment.

Here's a short I did this year with my girlfriend
Here is a 'shared script' we did at the film club (2 teams had a script they both had to use to see how different they can look). I did the directing, cinematography, one of the 3 cameras, editing, casting, sound and producing! Hahaha. Such a big task.
